My Chats: finding your past work

My Chats lists everything you've made in MicroChat — programs, games, and tutorials — newest first. Click My Chats in the left-hand menu.

Reading the list

Each row shows:

• Last Request – the last thing you asked, so you can recognise the chat.
• Type – a coloured tag: Code (green) for micro:bit programs, Arcade (orange) for games, Tutorial (purple) for tutorials.
• Last Active – when you last worked on it.
• An arrow at the end. Click anywhere on the row to open it.

Opening an old chat

Click the row. The whole conversation comes back, and so does the program — the blocks appear on the right, ready for MakeCode, Explain, or more changes.

One thing to know: the Download button is greyed out until you make a change in that chat. Ask for any small tweak (or just "rebuild this") and Download comes back to life.

Starting something new

The buttons across the top start a fresh chat of each kind: New Code, New Code Session, New Tutorial, New Arcade, New Arcade Session.

What isn't listed

• Chats with the Dashboard helper aren't kept here — they're for quick questions and directions.
• Students' chats live inside their session, not in My Chats. Open the session to see them.
